Heavy duty includes demanding performance, hills and pulling loads. Cable length, installation conditions, battery capability and the current settings can require additional review. Do not install a 4 AWG kit merely because it physically reaches a 500A controller. Check the exact SR manual separately for a series-controller installation.
Before you order
Compare every required lead length, terminal opening and route. Changing from lead-acid batteries to a single lithium pack changes the layout: a kit designed around four or six individual batteries may contain unnecessary leads or lack the lengths needed for the new layout. Keep wiring clear of moving parts and sharp edges and use the equipment manufacturer's installation procedure.
A cable kit is not the controller mounting bracket, low-voltage signal harness, fuse or solenoid. Those parts are included only when a listing expressly identifies them.
