Fitment
For compatible Club Car Precedent 48V IQ-family DC carts using four 12V batteries. Verify the original controller and IQ/i2/Excel throttle configuration, cable routing and terminal sizes, 10-tooth motor spline, motor mounting and full-travel suspension clearance. Do not substitute the six-8V kit based only on total voltage. Not a DS Regen II, series, factory-AC or automatic lithium fit.
This speed-oriented motor is not a promise of additional torque or any particular MPH. Batteries, controller programming, load, gearing and tire size affect the result.
Installation requirements
Use the correct motor-specific field map and current limits. The 4 AWG cable set is the standard-duty 400A XCT minimum; heavy-duty operation requires 2 AWG or larger per Alltrax. Verify 48V coil activation, contactor mounting and ratings; the MZJ published switched-circuit ceiling is 60V DC, including maximum system voltage.
Battery, charger, labor, additional adapters, fuse and separately required pre-charge/diode components are not included. Modified applications require approval. Photos are representative component-family images, not an exact cable count or connector guarantee.
