For the series drivetrain only
Compatible 1995-up Club Car DS 48V series configuration with the matching battery arrangement and 10-tooth spline. Check motor outline, suspension clearance, mounting and original controller. The cable kit establishes the narrower application limit. Not IQ, Regen I/II, Precedent regen or factory AC.
Torque-focused describes the motor winding, not guaranteed towing or sustained-load capability. Performance and safe duty depend on the entire installation.
Configuration requirements
Match the SR throttle setting, current limits, mounting adapter and forward/reverse switch rating. The included 4 AWG cables meet the SR400 manual's minimum conductor size; verify lengths, routing and actual duty. Additional mounting adapters are not assumed included.
Match MZJ48 coil activation, contacts and mounting; published switched-circuit ceiling is 60V DC, including maximum operating voltage. Battery, charger, labor, additional adapters, fuse and separately required suppression/pre-charge parts are excluded. Non-stock applications require approval.
