A 36V DC upgrade package for E-Z-GO DCS
Bring an Alltrax XCT 400A-class DCS controller, D&D regen motor, D&D power-cable kit and 36V-coil MZJ contactor together in one parts package. Retains a compatible DCS DC drivetrain; this is not an AC conversion or a voltage-conversion kit.

Verify your DCS system
Choose this package for a compatible 36V DCS separately excited DC system with matching original controller/9-pin configuration, motor interface and battery layout. A TXT body or forward/reverse handle alone does not identify DCS. Not for PDS, factory TXT48, series or RXV AC. Confirm DCS-specific speed-sensor wiring requirements.
Installation requirements
Program the XCT for D&D 170-516-0003 at 36V with suitable motor and battery current limits. The included 4 AWG kit follows Alltrax's minimum for standard-duty 400A operation; heavy-duty use requires at least 2 AWG. Hills, towing and heavy loads need a separate workload assessment. The 400A controller class is not a continuous-current rating.
Check every lead length and terminal opening, motor clearance, throttle setup, mounting and battery/BMS capability. The MZJ needs a compatible 36V coil-control circuit; its published main-contact circuit limit is 60V DC, independently of coil voltage. Confirm actual contact duty, suppression and lug/stud compatibility; additional or re-terminated leads may be required.
Not included: programming service, labor, main fuse/holder, suppression diode, mounting adapter or additional signal harnesses unless listed by an individual component. This is not a guarantee of installation without additional parts. Follow the exact Alltrax wiring diagram and obtain D&D approval for the modified application and warranty coverage.
